We are now back on song with Acros BBs and headsets. A big effort by Acros has led to good deliveries recently, any new orders should be despatched within 24hours.

Product update- Ceramic BBs now come with stainless steel races to improve the performance even further -Acros raise the bar again.

We are proud to announce the addition of Acros of Germany to our product line up.

Acros are manufacturers of very high quality parts including ceramic bearing headsets and bottom brackets.

If you are having trouble with your X-Type bottom bracket you should check these out. We offer a ceramic bearing BB and a stainless bearing option. Use the ceramic for Xc and Enduro riding, the stainless will be better for big hits, DH, and Free Ride use. Ceramics are guaranteed for two years, which is about 22 months longer than we are getting out of a Shimano or Race Face.

Dalby World Cup is here!

Whilst many major sporting events have been subject to disruption and even cancellation due to the Icelandic Volcano, with typical Yorkshire stubbornness, the inaugural Dalby Forest XC World Cup round takes place this weekend. Can any British riders take advantage of this and exploit any fatigue that some of the international favourites will have undoubtedly endured? Will the course, designed with input from Scott Technical bod and muiti discipline, multi time national champion Nick Craig, throw up any surprises?

Whilst the course has been designed to be spectator friendly at only 6.5km long, it also has a slant on the technical, as Nick describes it “it is technical enough to bite you in the ass if you make a mistake”. He should know a thing or two about ride at top speed over technical trails and down steep drops in the lycra clad XC style with saddle at full height, being that he was a National DH champ back in the day (early 90’s).

Check back on Monday to see if a British rider can win on home soil, or if Scott- Swiss power rider and reigning World Champion Nino Schurter can get his season off to a winning start.
