Wheelspin Cycles Fitting

At Wheelspin Cycles we are passionate about bike fitting.

Our bike fitting studio, motion capture equipment and most importantly our cycling analysts are unparalleled in the area. Our policy of personal improvement and continual learning ensures we are always up to date with the latest developments in fitting and performance.

What sets us apart from other fitters?

We listen to you and we take the time to get to know you. Only by doing this can we fully understand your needs and any issues that you may have.

Who should have a bike fit?

Anyone who is spending a reasonable period of time riding their bike should have a bike fit. From beginner to pro, all riders can benefit from an analysis of riding position and technique to keep them pain and injury free.

What are the benefits of bike fitting?

  • Comfort
  • Efficiency
  • Injury prevention
  • Correct bike sizing when buying a new bike
  • Taking the guess work out of equipment selection

How long does it take?

You will spend approximately 3 hours with us for a road, cyclocross or MTB fit, possibly up to 4 hours for a Tri fit. At the end you will leave with a full report including all the dimensions you need to set up any bike to your ideal position. Obviously we can set up your bike for you if you wish. We recommend riders have a follow up to their fit approximately 4 weeks later. This follow up is included in the cost of your initial fit and will usually take up to an hour. Riders with on-going rehabilitation or dynamic positional requirements can book time on an hourly basis as needed after their initial fit.

Gebiomized Pressure Mapping.

We now offer Gebiomized saddle pressure mapping. We can offer this as a stand alone saddle fit or as part of a full bike fit.

This equipment represents a significant investment on our part, very few fitters in the country have this equipment, but to us it was a must have item. The benefits of using pressure mapping are huge, both for saddle selection and to analyse and solve other problems with general fit.
